FAQs

Do you Teach Absolute beginners?

Absolutely! I love teaching beginners. We never truly move past the fundamentals—the affect everything we play down the line. So it’s important to establish good habits that will set you up for success. Even if you’ve just picked up the mandolin for the first time, I would be happy to get you started on the path to success with this instrument.

Do you teach in Person?

Right now, I’m just limiting my one-on-one lessons to online students. But be sure to stay tuned for in person mandolin camp appearances coming up this year, if you’d like some up close instruction.

Do You Use Zoom?

I sure do! For scheduling purposes and to have everything in one place, I’m exclusively using Zoom for lessons right now. But don’t worry, you don’t need to have a payed Zoom account for lessons. As long as you have a free account, and the Zoom app downloaded to your device you’ll be good to go!

Can I Reschedule?

Definitely! If something comes up after you’ve booked your lesson, all you have to do it pull up your confirmation email from Calendly and click the “View in Calendly” option at the bottom. This will pull up a web browser page where you can choose another available lesson time. I just ask that all reschedules happen at leat 24 hours before our original lesson time.

Can I cancel?

With only limited spots available in my teaching schedule, lessons may be canceled but all sales are final and nonrefundable. However, lessons can be rescheduled for free within availability only if done so at least 24 hours before meeting time.

Do you Have More Availability?

As of now, my availability is just limited to the days and times I have listed in February. If it doesn’t work out to meet this time, be sure to sign up for my newsletter here to get notified of when my teaching schedule opens back up.
